This session provides an introduction to public sector decision-making, with a particular focus on how public decision-making is challenged through the courts.  In a practical and interactive session, participants will be introduced to the key principles that apply when courts are asked to overturn public decisions, based on Crown Law’s recently revised publication Te Pouārahi – Judge over your Shoulder. The session will also include a decision-making scenario and recommendations for reducing risk of successful challenge
